Our work

Three healthcare systems we built. Each one handles patient data, integrates with something that matters, and stayed in production for years.

Direct-to-consumer telehealth

Patient-to-prescription platform, built and operated end to end

A longevity medicine company prescribing therapies that require physician approval. They needed to automate the entire path from a new patient to a filled prescription.

What we built: health-history intake, identity verification, physician scheduling, prescription routing to pharmacies, order fulfillment, payments, and the patient and operations portals that tie them together. A web-based operations portal and a mobile-friendly patient portal shipped in five months.

What it did: order processing time fell by 70 percent. The platform has since scaled to many times the volume it was originally designed for, and the back-office team stayed lean the entire way. New products, pharmacies, and prescribing physicians are added without engineering rework.

Key integrations: pharmacy routing for prescription fulfillment, payment processing, identity verification, and physician scheduling.

Where it stands: in production. Fanzoo runs ongoing engineering operations on the platform today.

The engagement began as part of a partner-led MVP build and has continued directly with Fanzoo since.

AIRS

Remote patient monitoring for home oxygen therapy

Advanced Interactive Response Systems is an FDA-registered company building oxygen safety and data-collection products for the more than 320 million people worldwide living with COPD and related respiratory conditions.

What we built: the data pipeline, caregiver dashboard, and alerting layer for a connected oxygen flow monitor. The device captures SpO2, pulse, oxygen flow rate, tank status, and battery level and transmits over Wi-Fi. We built the portal where caregivers and clinicians see that data, and the notification layer that sends text and in-app alerts when something needs attention.

Key integrations: connected-device telemetry over Wi-Fi, and text and in-app notification delivery.

Why it is hard: physiological data arriving continuously from devices in patients' homes, surfaced to the right person quickly enough to matter, without alert fatigue.

Scope was the companion software and data platform. Device firmware and regulatory submissions sat with the client and their device development partner.

The engagement began through in2being, a medical device development firm, continued directly with Fanzoo, and concluded after delivery.

Core Dementia Care

Clinical training platform, web and mobile

A person-centered dementia care training program used by assisted living and memory care organizations to build dementia-capable culture among frontline staff.

What we built: the full course delivery portal, including video modules, enrollment, progress tracking, and organizational reporting. Plus companion iOS and Android applications focused on self-care for staff working in high-stress caregiving roles.

Key integrations: video course delivery, and iOS and Android application distribution.

Where it stands: more than a decade in production, actively maintained and serving care organizations throughout.

Delivered through an e-learning partner who operated the platform.

How these engagements started

All three began the same way: a partner who needed engineering they could trust brought us in, and the relationship continued directly with Fanzoo afterward. The systems outlasted the engagements. That is the part we are proudest of.

If you are a platform, a device company, or a consultancy that needs a healthcare engineering partner rather than a subcontractor who disappears at launch, that is the work we are best at.
